About the Project

  Children must be taught to value democracy as a way of life; the necessary skills for building  democracy  do  not  develop  automatically  so  teaching  democracy  means  preparing  children  to  become  citizens  who  will  preserve  and  shape  democracy  in  the future. Therefore, democracy should be a key aspect in every form of education from the earliest age possible. Democratic education is about promoting curiosity, discussion,  critical  thinking  and  learning  to  take  responsibility  for  your  actions.  Such educational outcomes are best achieved through action.
